H.E. the Premier and Foreign Minister, Arab League Secretary General/ Press Conference 30/3/2009 H.E the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani described the decisions of the 21st Arab summit as "positive" and dominated by the spirit of responsibility. Speaking at a joint press conference with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, H.E. the Premier and Foreign Minister underlined that the ways the Arabs dealt with the summit''s resolutions were "positive", adding that the Arab differences have been "buried". H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani pointed out to support of Arab countries to the Comoros, Somalia and Sudan, through extending material support to those countries in different aspects, a matter which reflects the Arab solidarity. |

Arab Summit concludes, issues Doha declaration 30/3/2009 Arab leaders and heads of Arab delegations participating in the 21st Arab League summit concludeed meeting here this eveining expressed their full support and solidarity with Sudan in the rejection of the arrest warrant issued for Sudanese president Omar Al-Bashir by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The leaders expressed, in the Doha Declaration, read by the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa at the closing session, their support for Sudan in the face of all threats targeting its security, stability and territorial integrity and rejection of all actions that threaten the peace efforts being exerted by the state of Qatar within the framework of the Arab-African Ministerial Committee and in coordination with the mediator of the joint UN and the African Union.
