Doha forum ends with call for peace and security

First Deputy Premier opens US-Islamic World Forum

Fifth session of the U.S.-Islamic World Forum opened in Doha on Saturday 17 February 2007 at the Ritz Carlton hotel.

The three-day forum was organized by the Foreign Ministry's Conferences Organizing Permanent Committee and Saban Centre for Middle East Policy at Brookings institution.

200 leaders for US-Islamic world forum

THE fifth annual US-Islamic World Forum, being held in Doha from February 17 to 19, will bring together nearly 200 leaders from 34 countries across the Islamic world and the United States.
The event, to be held at the Ritz under the theme �Confronting What Divides Us’, is organised by the Brookings Institution’s Project on US Relations with the Islamic World in partnership with Qatar’s Foreign Ministry.
