International Conference on “Building a New Asia : Towards an Asian Economic Community”
10-11 March 2003, New Delhi

On 11 March 2003, Ambassador Manaspas Xuto, Executive Director of  the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) made a presentation on Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) and Asian bond market development at the International Conference on “Building a New Asia : Towards an Asian Economic Community in New Delhi. The Conference is an example of the participation of civil society, particularly the international forum of academics, in the ACD process.  The Conference provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of academics on ACD and exchange views with those scholars.
